Starting in September of the school year, teams trade $100,000 of virtual money to build a portfolio for a client with specified needs and preferences. Teams with the most refined strategies, well-made reports, and the best returns advance to the semi-final. After submitting a video presentation and responding to grilling questions from Analysts, CEOs, and Founders of large financial firms, our team advanced to the Global Finale, placing themselves in the global top 11.
The Global Finale takes place in person at the University of Pennsylvania on April 20th. Here, our team will be presenting in front of a panel of decorated financiers. We wish the best of luck to the team as they make their way to Philadelphia. Congratulations team “Wolf of Western” on being the only Canadian team to make it to this stage in the competition, as well as the first Albertan team to EVER make it this far in the competition's history.
