50th Anniversary of French Immersion
Western Canada High School is hosting a celebration of 50 years of French Immersion in the CBE. Grade 3 students from our French Immersion feeder elementary schools, Westgate, William Reid, and Mayland Heights, will be coming on March 14th for a French Immersion Rock Concert to celebrate with us. They will also be getting a tour of the school and will be putting together a time capsule to be opened in 10 years. We will also have a group of Franco-Western Club members hosting French club members from Bishop Pinkham and Westgate. They will be enjoying the concert and will get a chance to do a collaborative art project under the direction of Francophone artist Sabine Lecorre-Moore.
Stay tuned for more information about a Gala open for French Immersion Alumni.
