MARCH SCHOOL COUNCIL MEETING WITH SCHOOL TRUSTEE, SUSAN VUKADINOVIC (VIRTUAL)

School council is pleased to announce that our school trustee, Susan Vukadinovic, will be attending our General Council meeting on March 7, 2024. This meeting will be online and the link will be shared on the day of the meeting. If you have questions or concerns that you would like Ms. Vukadinovic to address at the meeting, please forward them to School Council at wchsexec@gmail.com before March 4, 2024. Please note that there will be limited time to answer individual questions at the meeting, so it is best if you forward your questions to us beforehand.

In preparation for this meeting, we are including links to general information about the CBE, its trustees and its budget. We are also including links to specific topics that may be of particular interest to the WCHS community.

Bottle Donations

Dear WCHS Families, 

WCHS Parent Council Executive hosts four school council meetings throughout the year, brings in special speakers, and manages initiatives like Staff Appreciation. While we try to keep costs to a minimum, there are certain operating expenses which are unavoidable.  

One way you can support us is by donating your empties to the Parent Council SkipTheDepot campaign. It is simple and easy! Please find more information about the campaign here. This is an ongoing campaign and you can donate at your convenience.

Course Challenge Reminder

CBE Languages is running the next offering of the Languages Course Challenge program for Grades 10-12 students on Saturday, Feb. 24 and Saturday, March 16.

Registrations are now open and guides have been updated with writing dates and locations for the Winter 2024 session.

Applications are due by 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

Senior Redhawks Invitational Tournament

Best of luck to our senior basketball teams this coming weekend as they take on their opponents in the annual Redhawks Invitational Tournament (RIT). Come out and support your team at our games that run Thursday through Saturday. Go Redhawks!
